Who is Using the World Wide Web?In 1995, for the first time in history, more computers were produced and sold in the United States than television sets, and in 1996, Internet traffic exceeded faxes. As with many of us, just a few short years ago, we didn't even know what the World Wide Web (WWW) was or the power it could hold. I wasn't interested in another "home shopping network". What we all did not understand was the amount of power the Web could possess by the sheer volume and amount of varied information it could provide the general public. In 1999, Internet usage has exploded onto the marketplace.
Today there are over 100 million unique URL's and millions of people who spend literally hours "surfing" the net instead of watching TV, listening to the radio or reading magazines, and shopping. Why should they? All of those services and more are on the Net too! So, there are millions of potential customers or interested people you can reach through your Web page at a fraction of the cost of other advertising media. ![]() info@bogartdesigns.com Last Updated November 12, 2004 Copyright © 1996-2004 Bogart Designs.
